Carabao Cup Semi-Finals: It’s Moses Vs Iwobi As Chelsea Draw Arsenal

Nigerian stars will clash in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup as Victor Moses’ Chelsea will face Alex Iwobi’s Arsenal in the semi-finals of the competition.

In a draw ceremony held late on Wednesday at Ashton Gate, the reigning English Premier League champions Chelsea, who defeated Bournemouth 2-1 in the quarter-finals of the competition on Wednesday, were drawn to host Arsenal in the first leg semi-finals at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal had on Tuesday defeated West Ham in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Both Moses and Iwobi are yet to feature in the competition this season.

In the second semi-final, English Championship side Bristol City, who ousted holders Manchester United in the quarter-finals on Wednesday, will face Manchester City.

The first leg will be played at the Ethiad stadium with the return leg to hold at Ashton Gate.

The ties will be played in the weeks of January 8 and January 22.
